VETERANS DAY ANNOUNCEMENT

Veterans Day is just a couple weeks away and we need your help to make sure our nation’s veterans get the recognition they deserve on November 11th. If you are serving in the National Guard or Reserves or have served in the military in the past and are now serving in our public schools – or if you have a family member currently serving in the armed forces that you would like us to recognize – please send that info our way!

You can either record a short video on Soapboxx or you can email the following to communic@ohea.org:

  • A photo of yourself in uniform and a recent photo of yourself as an educator
  • Your name, rank, branch and years of military service, if you’d like to share that
  • Your current job title and local association
  • If you are spotlighting a family member, please send a photo of that person along with their name, rank, and branch of service, as well as their relationship to you.

On November 11th, we’ll use these photos and videos in social media posts to salute all educators and their family members who have served in the U.S. military

Thank You!
